Long-time Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide Football Match supporters, CW Sellors Fine Jewellers, have selected not one but two winners from the entries for their competition in association with Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School to design a commercially appealing charm bead for the company to commemorate the prestigious game in 2014.
The brief stated that the design should feature influences from the famous Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide Football Match – which could include be any aspect of the game for example the goals and Up’ard or Down’ard allegiance. The team at Sellors selected a combination of two of Rosie Yates’ charm designs which incorporates both the Shrovetide song and the players of the game. Rosie has won the chance to work with CW Sellors’ creative team to transform the design into a real charm which will be available to buy in the Ashbourne Boutique before Christmas in celebration of the 2014 Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide…
