Nice and concise – I wasnt aware of the Megatrain option


So here are three ways to buy your travels to London; Pro’s & Con’s.

National Express


Better range of stops in London
Early morning arrival


Can get crowded
Smelly toilets
Prone to being late due to roads.



Cheaper than the train company’s site
Wi-Fi & Power sockets
Reliable & Quick


No seat reservation
Only travel certain times
No upgrade to first

East Midlands Trains


Better variety of times
Cheap upgrade to first class
Seat reservations

Most expensive.


Well as it shows you would think I would be going for East Midlands trains Here but the point of this was that you can get to London for a lot cheaper than most people think.

I would go with the megatrain option unless you really struggle for funds, you still get the comfort, reliability and speed of a train service for a fraction…
