Starting a Blog means that I have had to think about my riding a bit more. Where I am going and what I see. Today I have done a leisurely twenty-five miles around the lanes, taking in Longford, Rodsley, Shirley and Ednaston, intending to gather a few pictures that will start the inspiration for others.
It’s all to easy to bike with your head down and going for it, intent on getting a fast time for a pre-planned route, improving average speed or hitting a new maximum. The view from a bike is better than that from a car; it’s easy to pull over at will and the view ‘over the hedge’ reveals hidden gems.
